These properties are being advertised for a 35% share. Applicants who can only afford less than a 35% share will also be considered, however, applicants must buy the maximum share they can afford (up to 40%).

A local connection to North Somerset is required. A Local Connection is categorised by North Somerset Council as one of the following

• Have lived in North Somerset for two consecutive years preceding the date the application is made; or
• Have previously lived in North Somerset for ten consecutive years prior to the date the application is made; or
• Have retained continuous employment in North Somerset, of a minimum of 16 years per week, for at least the 12 months preceding the date the application is made; or
• Family connections - applicant's family member (parents, siblings, non-dependent children) has lived in North Somerset for the last two consecutive years and applicant has a need to live near this person to give or receive care or support family member (parents, siblings, non-dependent children) has lived in North Somerset for the last two consecutive years and applicant has a need to live near this person to give or receive care or support.
